- अरबी के एक प्रसिद्ध वाक्य का पहला शब्द जिसका व्यवहार प्रायः भूत-प्रेत आदि को भगाने या किसी बात के संबंध में परम उपेक्षा अथवा घृणा प्रकट करने के लिए किया जाता है
- बुरी बात पर तास्सुफ़ ज़ाहिर करने के लिए भी मुस्तामल
- (इस्लाम धर्म) शैतान या दुष्ट आत्माओं को भगाने के लिए प्रयोग किया जाने वाला एक शब्द जो घृणा, उपेक्षा और तिरस्कार का सूचक है।
