- (हिंदू धर्म) वह त्योहार जिसमें हिंदू लोग ब्रह्मणों को सत्तू बना कर बांटते हैं यह संक्रांत सूर्य के मेषराशि में प्रवेशित होने के दिन से संबंधित है क्योंकि वास्तव में संक्रांत सूर्य के एक राशि से दूसरी राशि में प्रवेश को कहते हैं
