- (عروض) ایک زحافِ مرکب کا نام ، یہ اس طرح ہے کہ جو رکن صدر و ابتدا میں واقع ہو اور اس کے شروع میں وتدِ مجموع پھر سببِ ثقیل اور اس کے بعد سبب خفیف ہو تو رکنِ مذکورہ کا پہلا حرف نکال ڈالنا اور پھر اس کے سببِ ثقیل کے حرف دوم کو ساکن کرنا.
