- (جغرافیہ) وہ قانون جس کے مطابق نصف کرۂ شمالی میں حرکت کرنے والی ہر چیز خواہ وہ شمال سے جنوب یا جنوب سے شمال مشرق سے مغرب یا مغرب سے مشر کو حرکت کر رہی ہو ، زمین کی روزانہ گردش کی وجہ سے اپنے دائیں ہاتھ کی طرف مڑ جاتی ہے اور نصف کرۂ جنوبی میں بائیں ہاتھ کی طرف ، اس قانون کا اطلاق صرف ان چیزوں پر ہوتا ہے جو قانونِ قدرت کے تحت حرکت کرتی ہیں .
