- ۔ (طب) شریان یا دل کی ایک پوری حرکت یا ایک تڑپ (مراداً) شریان یا دل کا پھیلنا پھر سکون کرنا پھر سکڑنا اور پھر سکون کرنا ۔
- ۔ (طب) نبض کی ایک باقاعدہ ضرب یا حرکت جس میں ایک بڑی ضرب کے بعد ایک چھوٹی ضرب ہوتی ہے ؛ نبض کا تواتر ؛ (طبیعیات) ایک بڑی ضرب کے بعد ایک چھوٹی ضرب (آواز کی رفتار معلوم کرنے کے لیے بھی مستعمل) (Rhythm) ۔
