- وہ کلمات جو کلام پاک کے بعض سوروں کے شروع میں آئے ہیں، ان کے حروف کو الگ الگ پڑھا جاتا ہے اور ان کے معنی اور تفسیر نہیں بتائی گئی، جیسے: الٓم ، یٰسین، الٓمص، حم عسق، کھٰیعصٰ وغیرہ، حروف مقطعات
- کلمے کے وہ حروف جو الگ الگ لکھے جائیں، جیسے: ق ص ی د ہ (قصیدہ)
- (کسی شے کے) الگ الگ قطع کیے ہوئے اجزا
- (شاعری) سبک وزن والے یا بحر رجز کے اشعار
- چھوٹے چھوٹے ریشمی کپڑے، موٹے ریشم کے ٹکڑے، چھپے ہوئے کپڑے
