سریش سے تیار کیا ہوا سانچہ جو لچکدار ہوتا ہے اور نمونوں کے ابھار جھکاؤ اور اندرونی حصّہ میں اچھی طرح جم جاتا ہے ، اس سانچے کی خصوصیت یہ ہے کہ نمونے کو اس سے حسبِ ضرورت علحدہ کرسکتے ہیں۔

ایک رطوبت جو بدمزہ اور بدبودار ہوتی ہے، سوس مچھلی کے پیٹ سے نکلتی ہے، پانی میں حل ہو جاتی ہے، جب تک خشک ہے ریشم کے سے تار ہوتے ہیں مگر ان میں ذرا سختی ہوتی ہے، حل ہونے کے بعد اس میں چیپ اور لعاب پیدا ہو جاتا ہے، کسی کا رنگ سفید ہوتا ہے کسی کا سِیاہ بھی ہوتا ہے
