विशेषण
- जिसमें किसी प्रकार का छल कपट या झूठा व्यवहार न हो। अथवा जिसकी प्रामाणिकता, सत्यता आदि में किसी प्रकार के अंतर या संदेह की संभावना हो। जैसे-(क) जबान का सच्चा अर्थात् सदा सत्य बोलनेवाला और अपने वचन का पालन करनेवाला। (ख) लंगोट का सच्चा अर्थात् जो परस्त्रीगामी न हो और पूर्ण ब्रह्मचारी हो। (ग) हाथ का सच्चा, जो कभी चोरी या बेईमानी न करता हो।
