- ۔(ف) ۱۔زعفرفان کا کھیت جو کمال زرد رنگ ہوتا ہے۔ ؎ ۲۔(اردو) جب کوئی شخص بہت زیادہ ہنستا ہے تو کہتے ہیں کہ آپ کشت زعفران دیکھ آئے ہیں یا آپ کشت زعفران ہوگئے ہیں۔
- ۔سنسکرت میں کَشْٹ بمعنی مشکل کا بگڑا ہوا ہے۔
- ۱. زعفران کا کھیت جو نہایت زرد رنگ ہوتا ہے نیز کوئی ایسی چیز یا جگہ جسے دیکھ کر فرطِ مسرّت سے خود بخود ہنسی آئے
- ۲. (کنایۃً) ایسی چیز یا جگہ جہاں وفور مسرت سے یا جسے دیکھ کر خود بخود ہنسی آئے.
