- (جغرافیہ) دیگ یا دیگچے کی شکل کا غاز کی طرح گہرا نشیب جو آتش فشاں پہاڑ کی چوٹی پر بنا ہوا ہوتا ہے، یہ آتش فشاں پہاڑ کے پھٹنے سے بنتا ہے، اس کی شکل گول ہوتے ہے، جب اس میں بارش یا ندی نالوں کا پانہ بھرجاتا ہے تو یہ جھیل کی شکل اختیار کرلیتا ہے .
