- ایک پودا ہے ہر سال اس کی گرہ دار جڑ میں سے نازک خُوبصورت کون٘پلیں پھُوٹتی ہیں پھر یہ کون٘پلیں شاخیں ہوجاتی ہیں جن میں پھُول لگتے ہیں، یہ پھُول موسم خزاں میں فنا ہوجاتے ہیں لیکن ان پودوں کی جڑیں مدامی اور ڈنٹھل یکسالہ ہوتے ہیں، حقیقی مدامی پودے درخت اور جھاڑیاں ہیں، یہ ہر سال بڑھتی ہی جاتی ہیں اور ان کا کوئی حصہ ہوا میں فنا نہیں ہونا، ان کی شاخوں میں سال ہسال پھُول اورپھل لگتے ہیں.
