- (महा सिबी) एक ख़ास किस्म की ज़रब जो आड़ी दी जाती है . इस की सूरत हो होती है कि चार अदद जो दो बटों में लिखे हूँ इन में से पहले बट्टे के ऊपर का अदद, दूसरे के नीचे के अदद में और पहले बट्टे के नीचे का अदद दूसरे के ऊपर के अदद में ज़रब दे कर हासिल-ए-ज़रब को एक बट्टे की सूरत में लिखा जाये, जैसे २/६ x ४/९ को इस तरह ज़रब दें : २ x ९ - १८, ६ x ४ - २४ और हासिल-ए-ज़रब को इस तरह लिखें १८/२४

- (محاسبی) ایک خاص قسم کی ضرب، جو آڑی دی جاتی ہے، اس کی صورت یہ ہوتی ہے کہ چار عدد جو دو بٹوں میں لکھے ہوں، ان میں سے پہلے بٹے کے اوپرکا عدد، دوسرے کے نیچے کے عدد میں اور پہلے بٹے کے نیچے کا عدد دوسرے کے اوپر کے عدد میں ضرب دے کر حاصلِ ضرب کو ایک بٹے کی صورت میں لکھا جائے، جیسے ۲/۶ x ۴/۹ کو اس طرح ضرب دیں : ۲ x ۹ - ۱۸ ، ۶ x ۴ - ۲۴ اور حاصلِ ضرب کو اس طرح لکھیں ۱۸/۲
