- (तजवीद) क़ुरआन में वह स्थान जहाँ पढ़ते समय ठहरन तो ठीक हो लेकिन ठहर कर तुरंत उसके बाद से बिना दोहराए पढ़ाई शुरू करना ठीक न हो (क्योंकि जिस शब्द पर ठहराव किया जाता है उसका शाब्दिक संबंध अगले शब्द से होता है; जैसे: अल्हम्दुलिल्लाह के बाद रब्बिलआलमीन)

- (تجوید) قرآن مجید میں وہ مقامات جہاں دوران ِتلاوت ٹھہرنا تو صحیح ہو لیکن ٹھہر کر فوراً اس کے بعد سے آغاز تلاوت کرنا بغیر اعادہ کیے اچھا نہ ہو (کیونکہ جس کلمے پر وقف کیا جاتا ہے اس کا لفظی تعلق اگلے کلمے سے ہوتا ہے ؛ جیسے : الحمد ﷲ کے بعد رب العلمین) ۔
