اُلّؓن اول مضموم، دوم مفتوح مشدد، بمعنی ’’الو کی مادہ‘‘، بہت شاذ ہے، لیکن ناپید نہیں۔ نظیر اکبر آبادی کا شعر ہے ؎ اسے میں چھوڑوں اور چاہوں تمھیں اے بی ممکن ہے عجب تم بھی کوئی الن سڑی خبطی دوانی ہو دیکھئے، ’’تانیث سے عاری نام، جانوروں کے‘‘۔ الو یہ لفظ ہمیشہ مذکر ہے، لیکن کبھی کبھی اس کا مونث ’’الن‘‘ ( دوم مشدد مفتوح) بولتے ہیں۔ دیکھئے، ’’الن‘‘، دیکھئے ’’تانیث سے عاری نام، جانوروں کے‘‘۔
