- पानी, शराब कोई अन्य पेय या तरल पदार्थ के रखने का बर्तन जो लंबी गर्दन और छोटे मुँह का औसत दर्जे या छोटे आकार का होता है(प्राय: मिट्टी और धात या शीशे का होता है)
- जल रखने का एक प्रकार का प्रसिद्ध मिट्टी, धातु, शीशे आदि का पात्र, जिसके नीचे और बीच का भाग बड़े लोटे की तरह और ऊपर का भाग लम्बे चोंगे या नल की तरह होता है
- पीने वाले जल को ठंडा रखने के लिए मिट्टी का बनाया हुआ सँकरी एवं लंबी गरदन वाला घड़ा
