- وہ شرک جو کسی کے دل میں چھپا ہوا ہو مگر زبان سے ظاہر نہ کرے (کسی مصلحت کی بنا پر)، جو شرک واضح نہ ہو یا جو شرک ظاہر نہ ہو .
- (تصوف) سوائے حق تعالیٰ کے دوسری شے کو موجود فی نفسہ گمان کرنا ، جیسے : کہ شہودیہ معنویہ کہتے ہیں کہ اعیان ثابتہ یعنی صور علمیہ حضرت علم میں بنفسہا موجود ہوئے نہ ذات حق سے .
