- (طبیعیات) یہ پنڈولم دھات یا لکڑی کی ایک پختہ سلاخ یا چفتی کی صورت میں ہوتا ہے جس کے مرکز ثقل کے دونوں جانب برابر برابر فاصلے پر سوراخ نکالے ہوتے ہیں چنانچہ سلاخ کے کسی بھی سوراخ کو گاڑی ہوئی پن یا میخ پر چڑھا کر جو سلاخ کے لیے محور کا کام دیتا ہے ، اسے جھولایا جاسکتا ہے.
