- शेखचिल्ली (एक अफ़सानवी किरदार) एक मर्तबा कुछ माल चुरा कर लाया, उस की माँ को अंदेशा था कि ये चोरी का हाल छिपा नहीं सकेगा लिहाज़ा इस ने माल छिपा दिया और खीलें बताशे इस तरह गिराए कि शेखचिल्ली समझे कि ये आसमान से गिरे हैं, तहक़ीक़ात होने पर शेखचिल्ली ने चोरी का इक़बाल करलिया और बताया कि जिस दिन खेल बताशों का मीना बरसा था उस दिन मैंने चोरी की थी, ये मिसल इस मौक़ा पर मुस्तामल है जब कोई ग़ैर मुईन ज़माना बताए या ऊओट पटांग बात करे

- ۔ کہتے ہیں چیخ چِلسی ایک مرتبہ کچھ مال کسی کا چورا کر لایا اس کی مان کو یہ اندیشہ ہوا کہ وہ اپنی حماقت کی وجہ سے چوری کا حال چھپا نہیں سکے گا۔ لہٰذا اُس نے مال چھپادیا اور کھیلیں بتا سے اِس طرح گرائے کو شیخ چلی نے سمجاھا کہ آسمان سے گری ہیں۔ مال کی تحقیقات ہونے پر شیخ چلی نے چوری سے اقبال کیا۔ لیکن چوری کا دن اس طرح بتایا کہ جس روز کھیل بتاسوں کا مِنھ برسا اس روز چوری کی تھی) مثل۔ اس جگہ مستعمل ہے جب کوئی غیر مُعَیَّن زمانہ بتائے۔
- شیخ چلّی (ایک افسانوی کردار) ایک مرتبہ کچھ مال چُرا کر لایا ، اس کی ماں کو اندیشہ تھا کہ یہ چوری کا حال چُھپا نہیں سکے گا لہذا اس نے مال چھپا دیا اور کھیلیں بتاشے اس طرح گرائے کہ شیخ چلّی سمجھے کہ یہ آسمان سے گرے ہیں ، تحقیقات ہونے پر شیخ چلّی نے چوری کا اقبال کرلیا اور بتایا کہ جس دن کھیل بتاشوں کا مین٘ھ برسا تھا اس دن میں نے چوری کی تھی ، یہ مثل اس موقع پر مستعمل ہے جب کوئی غیر معین زمانہ بتائے یا اُوٹ پٹان٘گ بات کرے .
