حضورِ اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب ہجرت کے موقعے پر قبا کی بستی سے مدینہء منورہ روانہ ہوئے تھے تو جمعے کا روز تھا ، ابھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قبیلہء بنو سالم بن عوف میں پہنچے تھے کہ جمعے کی نماز کا وقت ہوگیا، اسی مقام پر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز جمعہ ادا فرمائی ، اب یہاں ایک مسجد بنا دی گئی ہے جسے مسجد جمعہ کہا جاتا ہے ۔
