हज्ज-ए-अकबर के हिंदी अर्थ
संज्ञा, पुल्लिंग
- सामान्य हज (क्योंकि 'उमरा' को हज्ज-ए-असग़र' भी कहते हैं)
- वह हज जिसमें हज के दिन शुक्रवार पड़े, बड़ा हज, बहुत बड़ा हज (सामान्य रूप से प्रसिद्ध है कि शुक्रवार के दिन हज हो तो वह 'हज्ज-ए-अकबर' है, लेकिन धर्मशास्त्र में इसका कोई स्रोत नहीं है, धर्मशास्त्रानुसार हज ही हज्ज-ए-अकबर' हैं, इसलिए कि एक प्रकार का हज 'उम्रा' भी है जिसे 'हज्ज-ए-असग़र' अर्थात छोटा हज कहा जाता है और इसके विपरीत सामान्य 'हज्ज' ही 'हज्ज-ए-अकबर' है)
