Interesting Information on aamad-naama

The poetry that Ghalib wrote for children is as interesting as his other works. He did not have any children of his own but had raised his wife’s nephew Arif from his childhood, who passed away at a very young age. Ghalib also held dear both the children of Arif and wrote the Masnavi ‘Qadir-Nama’ for them, which is a kind of versified lexicon that has the Urdu and Hindi synonyms for Persian and Arabic words. Besides, Ghalib has also written short Nazms for these children in a very easy language. About the Qadir-Nama, Ghalib announces: Jis ne Qadir-Nama Saaraa PaDh Liya Usko Aamad-Nama Kuchh Mushkil Nahin The Aamad-Nama is the rule of Persian grammar.
