जाल के हिंदी अर्थ
संज्ञा, पुल्लिंग
- षड्यंत्र; धोखा; फ़रेब; छल
- उक्त के आधार पर छेदोंवाली कोई रचना जिसमें कोई चीज फंसती या फँसाई जाती हो। जैसे-मकड़ी का जाल (जाला)।
- धागे, सुतली आदि की बुनी हुई वह छेदोंवाली रचना जो चिड़ियाँ, मछलियाँ आदि फंसाने के काम आती है। मुहा०-जाल डालना या फेंकना = मछलियाँ आदि पकड़ने के लिए जलाशय या नदी में जाल छोड़ना। जाल फैलाना या बिछाना चिड़ियों, पशु-पक्षियों आदि को फंसाने के लिए जाल लगाना।

- دھاگوں رسیوں یا فائلوں کی بنئی ہوئی بڑی سی جالی سج سے مچھلیاں اور پرندے وغیرہ پکڑتے ہیں.
- جال(trawl) پیچھے کی جانب ڈالا جاتا اور نکالا جاتا ہے اس جال کو مقامی طور پر گُجو کہتے ہیں.
- (مجازاََ) پھندا، دام (جس میں کسی کو پھانسا جائے).
- پد ماوت کٹنی کی چال کو سمجھ جاتی ہے اور اس کے جال میں پھسنے سے عین موقع ہر بال بال بچ جاتی ہے.
- بان٘س وغیرہ کی ٹٹی جس میں سوراخ یا حلقے ہوں. ان کی تیلیوں کی ساخت جال تھی.
