- अग्नि या सूर्य का ताप। गरमी।

- पदार्थ मात्र का वह प्राकृतिक तथा मूलगुण, विशेषता या वृत्ति, जो उसमें बराबर स्थायी रूप से वर्तमान रहती हो, जिससे उसकी पहचान होती हो और उससे कभी अलग न की जा सकती हो। जैसे-आग का धर्म जलना और । भाव AUR जलाना या जीव का धर्म जन्म लेना और मरना है।
